HATEBREED Giving Away Free MP3s
August 19, 2008Between now and August 25, Connecticut metal/hardcore heavyweights HATEBREED are giving away four FREE MP3s taken from their forthcoming DVD release "Live Dominance". Each live track is straight off the DVD and was recorded/produced and mixed by Grammy Award winner Josh Wilbur.
The tracks are as follows:
* "This Is Now"
* "Destroy Everything"
* "I Will Be Heard"
* "Live For This"
All four tracks are now posted on the band's official MySpace page. The songs will be available until August 25, after which the EP will be made available on iTunes for purchase.
Video footage of HATEBREED performing the song "This Is Now" live can be viewed below. (Note: Video stream may not be available to some non-U.S. residents.) The clip is taken from "Live Dominance", which is scheduled for release on September 2.
"Live Dominance" features over two hours of live footage, including the full sold-out show at Harpo's in Detroit shot in March of this year on the band's Supremacy tour. The multi-camera concert was filmed entirely in high definition. The DVD will also include a ton of bonus features shot specifically for the release including brand-new band interviews, bonus live videos, fan testimonials, and much, much more.
"Live Dominance" was directed/edited by Toaster In A Tub's Kevin Custer with musical production/mixing coming from Grammy Award winner Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD).
As previously reported, HATEBREED will release its all-covers album entitled "For the Lions" on October 28 via Koch. The CD is expected to include HATEBREED's renditions of songs by MISFITS, METALLICA, JUDGE, CRO-MAGS, D.R.I., NEGATIVE APPROACH, AGNOSTIC FRONT, MADBALL, SHEER TERROR and OBITUARY, among others.
HATEBREED will hit the road in September with support from EMMURE, SOILENT GREEN, WAR OF AGES and CATALEPSY.
HATEBREED enlisted Vinnie Paul Abbott (HELLYEAH, ex-PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN) to produce, document and record the band's May 27, 2008 concert in Dallas, Texas at the Palladium Ballroom. The resultant recording will be released as HATEBREED's live album, "Live in Dallas", due in early 2009.
